The mystery of soul-winning sinners

One famous evangelist once said he has seen some fake pastors lead people to Christ and he was always amazed how they do it. I have also been amazed how some pastors who are known to be hypocrites can lead people to Christ, but what has amazed me even more is why they do it. Sure there’s money aspect involved because the more the people the more the money, but money as the real reason doesn’t make sense especially for those pastors who are not involved in financial matters of the church and are just paid a fixed salary, or those who make enough money from publishing books and speaking engagements.

Jesus made a very important statement with regards to this kind of pastors, he said to them “you travel over land and sea to win a single convert, and when he becomes one, you make him twice as much a son of hell as you are” (Matthew 23:15). Now Jesus makes a startling revelation that this pastors’ main aim to evangelize is driven by their desire to turn people into hypocrites like they are, and not to try and make money out of them. This reminded me of a testimony I once read from a former Satanist, Emmanuel Eni, who said there are Pastors who make deals with the satanic kingdom in return for successful churches. These pastors are asked to do one thing in return – to donate to Satanists one or two souls every year. So where are these pastors going to get the souls from, unless they get them from their own churches?

Even though it’s good for people to accept Jesus as their Lord and savior, some people are led to Christ so they can be killed a slow death in the premise that they are safe from the powers of darkness, and once they are in the church then they are killed from one sermon to the other. Unfortunately these kinds of pastors are mostly prominent, and they have the powers to deceive their congregations and led them astray from the correct ways of God. As Emmanuel said, these pastors are obliged to donate souls to Satanists and the more they do it then the more successful their churches become. The most unfortunate part is that their congregations have no idea what they are involved in, and since most of them are led to Christ by these men then they usually have no knowledge of what it means to be Christian. The congregation would believe everything that is said even though it contradicts the bible, and the pastors position themselves as having more authority than the bible.

How do you know if you are part of such a church, where the pastor is a hypocrite mentioned by Jesus above? Here are some signs that would help you:

  • Does your pastor usually questions the bible, and make himself more authoritative than the bible?
  • Are you told not to associate with Christians from other churches?
  • Does your pastor command the congregation to all speak in tongues at once? (Read 1 Corinthians 14 for guidelines on speaking in tongues).
  • Does your church believe that no Christian should be poor?

These and more signs should make every Christian cautious, otherwise you stay in them at your peril.

(Emmanuel Eni’s book ‘Delivered from the powers of darkness’ is available freely on the internet; and I recommend it).

  1. how about pastors who are ridiculing other men of god most time?

    • Jesus said “Again, anyone who says to his brother, ‘Raca, ‘ is answerable to the Sanhedrin. But anyone who says, ‘You fool!’ will be in danger of the fire of hell” (Matthew 5:22).

  2. Have you ever thought about including a little bit more than just your articles?
I mean, what you say is valuable and all. But think about if you added some great graphics or video clips to give your posts more, “pop”!
Your content is excellent but with pics and clips,
this site could undeniably be one of the very best in its niche.
    Good blog!
